ONI Lounge & Restaurant

There’s no shortage of superb Japanese restaurants in Dubai and the latest one to hit the dining scene is ONI, which can be found tucked away on the second floor of Shangri-La Hotel Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Japanese restaurant and lounge proudly source its ingredients from the markets of Japan’s northern island, Hokkaido, and the eclectic menu is made up of small bites, kushiyaki, sushi, ramen and signature main dishes like miso black cod and wagyu rib-eye.

The restaurant is slick and modern with traditional, yet fun touches such as cherry blossom trees and Japanese fans. Space features an open interactive kitchen, as well as a special bar for Japanese beverages, a DJ booth, and a private lounge.
